Our
Baby and Children's Style Bracelets:
- Handcrafted Beading Wire:
We only use 49 strand professional quality jewelry wire - the best available on the market. This wire has a test strength
of 26lbs and is virtually unbreakable, and long wearing. We use a pearl color nylon coated wire to allow our beads
that are translucent (such as the fire czech glass crystals and some of opaque gemstones) to show their true vibrant quality,
color and clarity. This wire also has flexibility.
- PRECIOUS METALS:
STERLING SILVER: we only use the best grade of genuine sterling silver on the market which is
.955 or .925. All findings such as clasps, accent bali beads, charms, crimps are either .955 or .925 genuine sterling silver
- we do not use silver plated items.
20K GOLD FILLED or 14K GOLD VERMEIL: We only use 14K-20K
Gold Filled and 14K Gold Vermeil beads - we do not use gold plated findings - which tend to flake over a period of time -
with good care gold filled beads and findings can easily last a lifetime and look beautiful for a long time to come. Gold
filled and gold vermeil beads tend to not tanish. We use all Lead and Nickel FREE precious metal findings.
- 4mm & 6mm Size Beads: The beads for babies and children
range from 4mm to 5mm in size, this size is perfect for babies and small children to wear, and we always choose beads that
are soft and smooth to wear. Some of our Mom and Baby/Child matching bracelets are designed by using a larger 6mm bead for the adult style bracelet and using a smaller 4mm bead for the child style bracelet.
The 6mm beads are a bit too big for babies and small children, but they are the perfect size for adults, so we get
the best of both worlds with these bracelet sets, the beads are identical in look and quality, they just different sizes!
- Birthstones and Natural Pearls for Babies and Children:
We have two different choices for babies and children for birthstones. We either use the natural precious or semi-precious
gemstones in the tradtional birthstones. And we use the man made beads that basically highly pressed glass beads that
are very durable and strong and lead free, these are the Fire Czech Polished Jablonex Glass Crystals to handcraft our baby
and child style bracelets - We also follow any standards set forth by either Health Canada or the CPSIA (US). To view
our Product Safety website page, please click the link provided. The settings we use along side of the birthstones are always natural
grade A freshwater cultured pearls in many colors, or genuine solid .925 or .955 sterling silver beads, gold filled beads
and the semi-precious gemstones in an array of many natural colors.
- Gift
Packaging and Product Detail: All baby and children's bracelets come complete with gift packaging
of a gift box, pink organza bag, product detail card (made with), product care card - if required (all sterling silver, gold
filled or some of our gemstone bracelets require some extra care), sizing tag, tarnish resistant zip lock bag (for storing
the bracelet when not in use to prevent tarnish) tucked into a gift box and tied with lovely organza ribbon "free of
charge".

- 4mm
to 8mm Size Beads: The beads for our adult bracelets range in either 4mm size to 8mm size. The most
common sized used for an adult wrist is the 6mm size. However, if you have a small wrist you may also prefer the 4mm
size, very easy and light to wear. If we use a larger 8mm size bead it is usually just one or two beads per bracelet pattern,
to offset some of the smaller type beads and offer a variety in size to some of our bracelets.
- Birthstones, Pearls and Semi-Precious Gemstones: We offer three types of
birthstones for the adult style bracelets. The first offered is the Swarovski Crystals which are genuine Austrian crystal
beads, these beads do contain lead in the core of the bead. However.. they have a protective matrix that prevents any
lead from being absorbed into the skin. They have unique qualities and clarity and offer a true brilliant shine to each
bead. We only use these particuluar crystals in our adult style bracelets. Then we offer the lead free Czech Fire
Polished Jablonex Glass Crystals, which are just that, they are highly pressured glass pressed and under go a firing process
to bring out the vibrant shine from within the bead. Third, we offer the true natural and traditional precious and semi-precious
gemstones for our birthstone bracelets. These lovely gemstones are grade A quality, and gemstone bracelets come with product
care cards upon purchase. There are two types of pearls that we use for the adult style bracelets that are either the
natural freshwater grade A cultured pearls in various sizes. And we also use the Swarovski Crystal white pearls, that
are very long wearing pearls and remain looking beautiful for a long time and very easy to care for.
- Gift Packaging and Product Detail: All adult style bracelets come complete with gift
packaging of a gift box, pink organza bag, product detail card (made with) and if required a product care card (such as gold
filled or gemstones), sizing tag, anti tarnish zip lock bag (for storing bracelet when not being worn to prevent tarnish)
all of this tucked into a white gift box and tied with organza ribbon "free" of charge.

Product Care For Sterling Silver
and Gold Filled Gold Vermeil Jewelry:
STERLING
SILVER:
You may clean the bracelet with a mild dish detergent and warm water
and use a small soft scrub brush to clean between the beads themselves. To remove any tarnish on the sterling silver use a
sterling silver polishing cloth to offer a brilliant shine. These are considered to be the best silver polishing
cloths on the market and are imported from France by our suppliers. We sell them under silver cleaner in our on-line shopping cart system. Upon purchase of any of our bracelets if special care is required with some of
our sterling silver bracelets we will enclose a product care card for your jewelry.
Tip!
The bracelet will not tarnish if worn consistently. The natural oils in skin prevent tarnish from setting
on the sterling silver. If you do not wear the bracelet on a regular basis and would like to prevent tarnish from occurring try
storing the bracelet in an air tight zip lock bag or small air tight container. Upon purchase of one of our sterling
silver bracelets or gold filled, we always provide an anti-tarnish zip lock bag within the gift box, please store the bracelet
in the zip lock bag when the bracelet is not being worn. This will prevent tarnish from ever occurring if used.
Round satin beads may tarnish if not worn all the time, but bali beaded bracelets (daisy spacers) will
never tarnish or fade.
Please do not use a liquid silver cleaner on the bracelet, as this
will damage the other beads on the bracelet. Please remove the bracelet prior to any swimming activity as chlorine will breakdown
the silver, beads and jewelry wire, and will also compromise the strength and durability of the bracelet.
GOLD FILLED AND GOLD VERMEIL CARE:
Gold filled
or gold vermeil jewelry is tarnish resistant. If your gold filled jewelry is handled with care then only light buffing
will ever be required. Try to keep your gold filled jewelry away from moisture, or if moisture occurs then try to dry
the jewelry from moisture. When the gold filled jewerly is not being used then try to store the jewelry in a sealed
zip lock bag. Upon purchase of any of our bracelets, we always include a zip lock bag within the gift box. This method
will help to preserve your gold filled jewelry remaining beautiful for a long time when not being worn on a regular basis.
All of our gold filled or gold vermeil jewelry will come with "product care cards" enclosed in your order.
GEMSTONE and SEMI-PRECIOUS GEMSTONE
CARE - Upon purchase with any of our gemstone or semi-precious gemstone jewelry we will provide "product care" cards:
January - Garnet Semi-Precious Gemstone: This gemstone is named as latin for "granatus" meaning grain and "gernet" meaning dark red, possibly
giving reference to "pomegranate" as it resembles the seeds of a pomegranate with the same color, size and shape.
You may use a commercial jewelry cleaner along with warm water and a mild detergent to clean the bracelet. You can also
use a soft bristle brush to clean between the beads. Please limit harsh expose to direct sunlight or heat.
February - Amethyst Semi-Precious Gemstone: A stone initially of royalty that was found to ornament churches and spiritual leaders, this was their choice of gemstone,
and found on may crowns of royalty. The stone is a member of the quartz family and is very popular and easily found
within different areas of the world. You may use a ultrasonic jewelry cleaner along with warm water and a mild detergent to
clean the bracelet. You can use a soft bristle brush to clean between the beads. Please do not expose to strong
sunlight or it may lighten the color of the gemstone bead to a paler color. We also offer the February Amethyst Bracelet in beautiful white pearls.
March - Aquamarine Semi-Precious Gemstone: A semi-transparent mineral that looks like water. The aquamarine gemstone is closely related to the emerald.
Originally found on top of the mountain peaks of Mount Antero, these are the finest of the aquamarine ever found. Also,
known to be found on the highest of all elevation in the world, found at around 14,000 elevation. Do not clean in a
home ultrasonic jewelry cleaner. Please just use warm water, soft bristle brush to clean through the beads. Do
not subject the bracelet to harsh or long exposure of direct sunlight, it will change the bead to a paler color.
April - Quartz Semi-Precious Gemstone: It is the most common and abundant mineral on the earth. It is also a very hard mineral, rating 7 out of 10.
It has a glass like appeal and is very transparent, like glass. Looks beautiful when accented with pearls and sterling silver.
Easy to care for, just warm water and mild detergent to clean the bracelet. You can use an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner
or a commercial jewelry cleaner as well.
May - Emerald Gemstone: The emerald is considered to be a one of the Four (4) precious gemstones (ruby, emerald, sapphire and diamond).
A very rare and valuable gemstone, that is expensive and hard to find good quality, and clarity without any intrusions to
the gemstone. One of the most beautiful and intense gemstones to be found. A green hue must be present in order
to be defined as a true emerald, being that the stone presents a high amount of transparency is to be considered a top gem.
We are using 2mm and 3mm smooth rondelles that contain a vibrant clear green hue and are classified as a Grade A Emerald.
To care for the emerald, please use a soft dry cloth, do not use ultrasonic or commercial jewelry cleaners, they are harsh
and will damage the stone. Please avoid any strong light or heat exposure.
June - Light Amethyst Semi-Precious Gemstone and White Pearls: Light Amethyst is in the quartz family, very abundant and an easy care for stone. You may use an ultrasonic
jewelry cleaner, or commercial cleaner, warm water and mild detergent and soft bristle brush to clean through the beads.
Please avoid strong exposure to light or sun to avoid making the stone pale in appearance. Another lovely June Bracelet with White Pearls and Star Shaped Bali Beads.
July - Ruby Gemstone: The ruby is considered to be a one of the Four (4) precious gemstones (ruby, emerald, sapphire and diamond).
A very pink deep vibrant red gemstone. A ruby is strong and a durable stone. They rate a 9 out of 10 for hardness.
Please just clean with warm water and a mild detergent, using a soft scrub brush for cleaner between the beads. Or we
offer the ruby bracelet in a two toned gold filled and sterling silver setting.
August - Peridot Semi-Precious Gemstone: It is a very abundant mineral, but good quality is hard to find. It is one of the few gemstones that occurs
in only one color, the olive green. It is mined all over the world. Please only use a soft bristle brush, water
water and a mild detergent to clean the bracelet, do not use a commercial or ultrasonic jewelry cleaner it will damage the
beads. Please avoid strong UV sunlight rays, and heat exposure of any sort. Another style of the peridot bracelet is accented with bali silver and beautiful light amethyst gemstone beads.
September - Sapphire Gemstone: The sapphire is considered to be one of the Four (4) precious gemstones (ruby, emerald, sapphire and diamond). A sapphire
is fairly similar to the ruby, and posses all of same qualities. You will see purple sapphires and these are a lower
quality and much lower cost. The darker the sapphire, the more expensive the gemstone. A good sapphire will measure
a hue of 85% being blue, where the 15% may be purple, but never should contain a green hue. If you have heart of the
"star sapphire" this means a special phenomenon know as aster-ism. This effect displays a needle-like intrusion
that causes a unique star shaped pattern in the centre of the gemstone when using an overhead light source. Such as
the "Star of India" is the largest known star sapphire in the world. Please care for your bracelet by using
a soft bristle brush, warm water and a mild detergent, do not use a commercial cleaner, ultrasonic jewelry cleaner as it will
damage the beads. Please avoid strong UV sunlight rays and heat exposure of any sort.
October - Pink Opal Semi-Precious Gemstone: This beautiful pink opal gemstone is found in Peru, and is very rare in abundance. A true pink opal should contain
pink to translucent to opaque qualities. They are formed in water formations through the earth and hence taking on a
"wet" softer structure than most gemstone beads. Most opal is 60 million years old and dating back to the
period when the dinosaurs roamed the earth. Please avoid any temperature changes of any sort. To clean use
a very mild detergent and warm water and a soft brush to clean through the beads. Please dry the bracelet off, do not
leave any residue of soap or water on the bracelet.
November - Citrine Semi-Precious Gemstone: This gemstone can be found abundantly through out the earth as it is in the abundant quartz family. The gemstone
should appear very translucent and offer a yellow to golden brown lemon appeal. Citrine meaning "lemon" in the french
language. Do not expose to harsh UV sunlight rays, or excessive heat. Please just use a soft bristle brush, warm water
and a mild detergent to clean the bracelet. This beautiful Citrine gemstones looks fabulous in a yellow gold filled setting too!
December - Turquoise Semi-Precious Gemstone: Lovely african turquoise has green and blue qualities with dark brown and black matrix swirls throughout each beautiful
bead. African turquoise looks the best went accented with any bali silver.
