We love what we do! We are always creating new designs and searching for new beading products to enhance our baby bead collections.  You see... this really is the fun part for us; which is putting our creative edge to work for you! 

Behind the scenes?  There is only one person currently handcrafting our jewelry and I'll tell you a little about me and how I started this wonderful journey.

My name is Deanna and I create all of our handcrafted jewelry that you see on our website.  This journey became inspired to me by a friend/co-worker just before the birth of my second daughter.  In October 2006, She had given me a beautiful baby birthstone bracelet for a gift.  Once.. my daughter out grew this lovely bracelet.. the search was on to find another, unfortunately I came up empty handed.  So..I started by going to a local craft store to see what I could find and came home with ooodles of beading accessories and books galore to research this new hobby!  Very simple...I was hooked on beading and my daughters, friends and relatives had bracelets in every color and style. 

The next big step was, we started was to research various suppliers and import beautiful grade A beads and findings from all over. We started selling our bracelets locally, and with continued success we decided to branch out a little further and investigate the world wide web (www.), so we successfully purchased our domain name and continued with this journey.   

We built our Baby Bead Treasures website, making it personal, welcoming, creative, fun and hopefully user friendly. We started our on-line shopping "Baby Bead Treasures" website in September 2007. 

We are continuing on into our third year of our on-line jewelry shopping store and look forward to another successful year shared with our customers (you are important to us and we love to hear from you, so please drop us a line anytime info@babybeadtreasures.com). As you can see from our website, we have grown from baby bracelets into so much more, including awareness bracelets, beaded watches, earrings, mom and baby/child bracelets, name bracelets, name birthstone necklaces and recently new items include gold filled bracelets  and traditional birthstone bracelets using semi-precious gemstones and gemstones, another popular item is the nursing feeding bracelet that we use semi-precious gemstones, pearls or sterling silver beads to complete this handy bracelet for busy moms that need to keep track feeding times of their babies.

Our name says it all - Baby Bead Treasures!  Because small infants and children are wearing these bracelets we only use small 4mm to 6mm, grade A, gemstones and semi-precious gemstones, Czech Fire Polished Jablonex Lead Free Glass Crystals (for our infant and children's collections), and genuine Austrian Swarovski Crystals to design our ages 12 and over collections.  We find these beads are smooth and soft in texture and are less intrusive than larger beads; the beads are very easy to wear and they tend not to get caught on clothing and other materials.  These smaller beads are perfect for small little hands and wrists!  However... because they are so easy and beautiful to wear; we are finding that youth and adults love to wear them as well!  You will find that our bracelet collections are geared towards any age! 

We only use the best precious metals such as .925-.955 genuine solid sterling sliver and 14-20K gold filled, and 14K gold vermeil to make these handcrafted bracelets,  all of our precious metals are lead and nickel free (we do not use costume jewelry findings that contain toxic lead coatings - you may visit our "product safety" page of our website to read more information released from Health Canada) we use the solid bali .955 or .925 silver collections that will not tarnish and fade, but we also use the lovely satin sterling silver that has a tendency to tarnish and fade.  We always include an anti-tarnish zip lock bag with all of our bracelets and recommend storing the bracelet in the bag when not in use to prevent tarnish on bracelets with the satin sterling beads. We will also provide product care cards if the jewelry you purchase requires special care.

We only use 49 strand professional beading quality wire for all our bracelets.  This wire has a test strength of 26 lbs and is very strong and durable.  We always recommend a supervised setting with any young and active child, as we all know anything can happen with small un-predictable and active children.  All of our jewelry comes with a money back guarantee, and a free repair service if ever required.
